You know, I sometimes will get on my soapbox about political issues and the direction our country is heading in.
and as most of my followers know I hunger for knowledge and do the best I can to share what I have learned over the years or have discovered through research on the internet, after all, this is how I learned to produce my own Ebooks, record and edit my own videos and produce DVD’s, Search Engine Optimizing (SEO) for high rankings on the internet which anybody can do if they just take the time to research and learn it..
for FREE instead of paying 2 or 300.00 a month with a listing company, I mean c’mon it’s not brain surgery lol, but thats what makes America great is the..
……Freedom of choice…….It’s a wonderful thing!
I have basically cut out a lot of my expenses because I was sick and tired of being run through the gauntlet when I wanted to get something done when I knew I could do all this stuff myself. It just goes to show you that as American’s we have that Freedom of choice.
I recently was listening to one of the many talk radio stations that I listen to and this particular one I like called The Sean Hannity Show had an interview with Lynyrd Skynyrd about a song from their album
God+Guns “That Aint My America!”
With the issues at hand especially with the New Health Care Reform this song really hit a nerve and I believe that the reform is not a good thing for our country and the future of our own well being because once again our government is trying to control our Freedom of Choice and the more that we all keep the proverbial “blinders” on and refuse to look at whats really going on, we are heading into a situation to where we will no longer have our Freedom of Choice and to have control of our own lives.
Why do you think so many Canadians come to the U.S. ?
They have to wait weeks, months if not years to get the medical attention they need…
I urge all of you to do some thorough research on this plan, to be honest it scares me and I fear nothing!
I don’t know how many of you remember the 1960’s and early 70’s and how our rights under the 1st Amendment were blatantly violated, like our Freedom of Speech, our rights to Assemble and especially our Freedom of Expression as artists and musicians in such a way that we had to disguise our art and music to keep from being arrested.
“Who Will Stop The Rain” by Creedence Clearwater Revival
wasn’t about rain that falls from the sky my friends lmao
Anyway, it just seems that back then when we as a country saw and disagreed with what our government was trying to do to control the people and the Freedom for which our country was founded on, that we as a nation stood up and took a stand and spoke loud enough through the masses that they had no choice but to listen which resulted in the Freedoms that we have today and this is why I have made this post with the
Lynyrd Skynyrd song and hope that you all get the same message from it that I have
We need to make a stand and be heard otherwise the Socialistic control of our country will become a reality and our
Freedom of Choice will become less and less……
Whats next?
Freedom of Expression?

Thought I would post an update on the progress of the new studio that is located in Bonita Springs Fl. with some pictures. Even though it has been one heck of a ride in 2009, I think things are looking more promising for 2010. All I have talked to lately are reporting an increase in sales and the housing market is actually showing some signs of recovery. I am sure a lot of you are glad to hear the news and I believe if we all stay positive on gaining some momentum in consumer spending and confidence in the economy that it can only get better as long as we stay positive and keep pushing forward
This is the West wall looking South towards the entrance of the studio which will acommodate one very large canvas or several smaller ones for either a mural project or a class room for future instructors who I have already been in contact with and hosting future classes
Same West wall looking North to the back entrance and storage area….
The main space of the studio is to focus on large open areas in order to have enough space available for large projects.
The front office is very modest in size but will still welcome visitors with an impressive entrance, after all the studio is designed to be a “working studio” and not a large showroom.
I think in the future what will impresses clients more is to see that a business is utilizing its space to its fullest potential and being productive to help cover the costs than to have a large scale “showroom” being counter productive
The trompe l’oeil murals of Celine Dion’s and Fisher Island Estates hand painted by Yves Lanthier author of The Art of Trompe L’oeil murals.
Mural art (Trompe l’oeil) made in USA by John Pugh www.illusion-art.com (big thanks to John for the approval) Music by Leftfield “Rino’s Prayer”
Another fantastic video! I have been a huge fan of John’s work for many years and had to bring this to the forefront for everyone I am on a quest to bring as much attention to the arts as possible!
With in the next few months I plan to get the word out to other faux artists that there are many artforms that we all can be expanding into.
I am also bringing more awareness to our local community of the many different styles and techniques of various artists and how we all learn and grow from each others creative energies …….
Peace!
The new artists venue is finally underway in Bonita Springs Florida!
The December 5th Saturday opening of
Florida West Arts Gallery was a huge success
and the walls are finally going up for Art-Faux Designs new studio! it looks as if we may get to the grand opening by the end of February after all. With all the delays and headaches that have been associated with this I was beginning to wonder if this was even going to happen.
Even after having been forced to finally get some rest because of over exhaustion I am still pushing forward to the goals I have set for 2010 of this being the best year ever for Art-Faux Designs Inc. and for anyone associated with us. But without further ado I wanted to present this amateur video I have put together to show how far everyone has come after a year of hard work and planning.
Yes this is just one of many things I have been learning in the past year to hopefully benefit others in our industry and
there’s more to come!
December is a very busy month as we all know, with the holiday shopping, Christmas parties to attend and a whole slew of networking and charity events that we all seem to schedule at the same time, that it seems we just don’t have enough time to get to all of them.
But, I did manage to get to 3 events on Saturday alone which of course one being the opening of Florida West Arts Gallery opening in Bonita Springs. The other two I attended, the first being a convention at the Hyatt Hotel at Coconut Point that involved a silver and gold business that I am involved with that had a very impressive turn out with over 200 people from around the country and from Florida. I am very thankful that I have become involved with this lucrative opportunity and the future looks very bright with the opening of new locations in Canada and the fact that Home Shopping Networks own Mike Mezack has joined us in our efforts to see our opportunity to go global.
The 3rd was a charitable event hosted by my very dear friends Clay & Kelly Cox of Kitchens by Clay in conjunction with TasteBuds Custom Catering who made available some wonderful hors d’oeuvres that were put together by Chef/Owner Greg Shapiro and served by his wonderful staff. The event entailed a silent auction of items that were donated by many area businesses and individuals which were to benefit The Naples Equestrian Challenge Inc. which encourages that “Riding therapy for children and adults with disabilities” is the main focus which I will write about on another post.
But my main focus here is to let everyone know that Art-Faux Designs grand opening will continue as planned for the latter part of January of 2010 and will be an active part along with other area artists in business to make this new venue for everyone in the arts a location to expand their creative energies and communicate with one another to learn and grow as artists and a place to meet with the idea of social events, art shows, musical endeavors for the public through the combined efforts of the businesses of Bonita Commons to make this all possible.
