This faux painting idea consists of two colors of foils along with two layers of texture and two overglazings. This is a nice finish for an accent wall or as a backdrop to accent a piece of fine art. I have used this technique often for niches as a back drop for statues, plaques and bas reliefs to name a few.
There are no limits to the colors for this faux painting idea, including the foil colors and I will be introducing a whole line of foil colors soon on my online store when its available along with some instructions on how to apply the foils.
