As I am a bit behind on posting to the Art-Faux Blog and I know that it has been over a week since the Open Decor Show was here in Naples but I feel that this post is better late than never.
Reason being is that I have been overwhelmed with work and client meetings that I finally found the time to jot a few words down to let everyone know that I met with a couple of artist friends who stopped by the studio in Bonita Springs last Sunday (Feb. 6th) after attending the Open Decor Show in Naples.
Airbrush master Dru Blair and Decorative artist Lori Wilson (Proceeds) came by for An Artist’s Welcome and to have a look see at the new studio location at 25987 South Tamiami Tr in Bonita Springs Fl.
and were impressed with the simplicity of the design and how the layout would work well for the possibility of some upcoming classes and demonstrations that are currently in the plans for Art-Faux Designs Inc. 239 417 1888
Yes, I am still pushing on to create an open studio for all art forms and to help artists explore and “spread their wings” even though I have had some major setbacks. I know quite a few of you who have been following me would agree, but it is what it is and unfortunately I am doing this on my own at this point.
Anyway, it was great to have Lori and Dru come by to show their support which gave me a real boost of enthusiasm and it has renewed my creative energy to keep pushing forward with this dream of mine even though some still think I should be committed lol
Lori was such a sweetheart and very supportive that hopefully we’ll put together a Proceeds Slow Drying Fluid Acrylics demonstration in the near future.
And of course most of you know that I have been discussing Airbrush Classes with the master Dru Blair for some time now and the class list is growing very quickly I might add, so if you want to show your support just go to the class page and sign up for the newsletter and I’ll keep you posted. Don’t worry I’m not asking for any money at this point I just need to know that the interest is out there before I prepare the studio for this type of curriculum.
I was very excited that Lori and Dru came by and my only regret was that I couldn’t have spent more time with them at the Open Decor Show along with several other of my artist friends that were at the show, but I do have clients that keep me busy and if it were not for all of our clients none of us would be fortunate enough to do what we do for a living.

Art, you know I’m in for Dru’s airbrush Class, I’m so happy to see that he and Lori stopped by the studio. Please let me know what I can do to help with the class.

Thanks PJ, I haven’t set a definite date yet but should have one very soon.
Art,
It was great to see your space! Keep working on it, it’ll come together! In the meantime, let me know if you need any assistance with products or application questions! Remember the Salon is in Atlanta, GA 4/7-10th – hope to see you there!
Thanks Lori,
